Hi Team,
“Team” because we’re all in this together. I just want to remind everyone that we are here for the chaos on the planet, we volunteered. Personally, I sometimes feel as if I have lived this before, there’s a familiarity to it all. Maybe we really do reincarnate over and over in the same place and under the same circumstances, like Groundhog Day, until we get it right.
A student reached out to ask, what do I do, as I see people all around me losing their space in response to the conflict in the Middle East? As always, the answer is to use your tools and hold your own space. That’s always where we start, as psychics with energy tools. Some say it’s not enough, we have to do more. We can do more, to the extent that one is able to help but stay in neutrality at the same time, and that can be very challenging. A friend of mine who’s a therapist once said, pretend life is a game; how do you want to participate? Some of us will want to march and protest. Others will pray, meditate, raise money or give a TED talk. We all can do something but we don’t all have to do the same thing. I tell my clairvoyant students, keep following your impulse to evolve as a spirit. It helps everyone.
Seeing it all as a game isn’t meant to diminish the crisis; rather it’s meant to move us out of seriousness and into neutrality, where we can better see what’s needed in any given moment.
I told my student, hold space for the crisis. If you see conflict, hatred, aggression, resentment, lack of forgiveness—clear all that out, but do it as if it were your energy. Keep yourself grounded and let others match you. It’s in the clearing of our own emotional load that we gain more neutrality. When we are more neutral, we can let others be who they are. When we tend to our own spirit, we let others grow and shift at their own pace, as they are meant to.
My daughter and her friends are creating. They draw, they paint, they design clothing. Some of them play music. Keep going, I tell her. If you are called into the greater conversation, if you get called to protest and send emails, by all means, do it. It’s in the act of creativity that spirit can speak to you; when you’re creative you’re in the flow. In that flow are the answers, the knowingness, the solutions. Any of us can access that, but creativity is a fast track to opening the channel.
As for the Middle East, we can also use our clairvoyance to see what parts of the world need healing. I participated in a guided meditation for Mother Earth recently. In it, we were invited to let ourselves be led to a part of the world that needed our help. I was surprised to find myself in Central Africa, looking at a single zebra. The zebra, I noticed, was lonely. It was by itself, and later it became evident that zebras don’t typically range to Central Africa; they are mostly confined to the southern and eastern parts of the continent. Maybe that was the whole problem! I asked the zebra if it wanted a healing, and sent it away brighter and much more content.
When we’ve been using our tools for a long time, we can step away knowing we gave the exact healing that was needed in the moment. Healing that zebra was the perfect thing at the time and I’ll never know why. It’s possible the healing was really for me, or for someone else participating in the meditation. Perhaps it helped someone in the Ukraine, on the US/Mexico border, or in the Middle East. Because we learn to trust our information, we don’t have to know the “why”, we can just follow where we are led, in faith.
In regard to world conflict, I’ve also been visiting the Hawaiian Ho’oponopono prayer of transmutation and forgiveness. This is another great way to hold space. There are many versions of this prayer, and they differ in their complexity. Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len used the beautiful short version that many of us are familiar with in order to clear his own emotions. As he did so, he noticed a shift in his outer world; other people were healing as he healed himself! His experience involved his own mentally ill patients. He would open their charts and read them, then notice his own emotions around what he was reading. He’d tap into those personal feelings, then pray the Ho’oponopono prayer. It goes like this:
I love you
I’m sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
After some time had passed he noticed he felt more at peace, and he observed that his patients were healing. Eventually the ward he had been working on closed, due to a lack of patients to care for.
I’ve been noticing my emotions around world conflict. I’m frustrated, incredulous, angry. I see unfairness, disregard and cruelty. As the feelings come up, I start to move those energies in my own world. Where do I treat myself with disregard, even cruelty? Where am I unfair to myself or others, and where do I have conflict and lack of forgiveness in my own life? I tap into those feelings, and then I pray the Ho’oponopono prayer. I always feel more peaceful afterward and I trust that it reverberates out into the world.
Those are just a few ideas of how we might approach the current crisis: holding space, being creative, praying. We can also protest or raise money, and we can gather with like-minded others to share our thoughts and support each other.
