At Psychic Horizons Center, we offer classes and programs to help students get in touch with their own energy, their intuition and their connection with Spirit. People who come to us are aware they are more than just their bodies. They come to us for many reasons; some because they pick up on the emotions of everyone they meet and it’s creating confusion and pain. Others want to know how to stop getting sick when someone they love gets sick. We attract therapists of all kinds, interested in developing their intuition so they can better help their clients.
Now and then a very left-brained character comes along, maybe an engineer, a scientist or a math teacher – someone with a beautiful mastery of linear thinking. Whatever the case, they might seek us out because they “just know” there’s something besides the body and their thought processes, and they want to know more.
Some students come to us because they feel completely out of control of their lives; they’re doing little more than reacting to the circumstances they find themselves in. Others love all things metaphysical and they’re eager to add to their tool box.
We teach students basic energy tools in How To Heal Yourself. From there, many choose to move into our Clairvoyant Program, which is the foundation of what we are about. As many of you know, we operate our Center on the principles and teachings of Berkeley Psychic Institute, founded in 1973. The tools are simple as can be; it’s just a matter of trying them out and, sometimes, getting out of your own way. We teach the tools through repetition and practice, over a period of 6 weeks.
Once in the Clairvoyant Program, students begin to peel away the layers of what stands between them and their most authentic selves. During the 13 month Program, students clear out beliefs, emotions and thoughts that actually belong to their parents, ancestors, siblings, friends, neighbors and so on. They also clear out energies that we tend to collect from various institutions like gove
I think of the Clairvoyant Program as a year of taking out the trash. Early in the program I was doing the work without fully understanding it (which is common for new clairvoyants, by the way). One day I thought to put out a rose to clear out “clutter”. I didn’t really know what it meant, but it moved a huge amount of energy and I felt much lighter afterward! My energy knew what to do and how amazing is that?
In the Clairvoyant Program we teach a different topic each week and clear energy around many different concepts. The energies that Clairvoyant students move are universal in nature; most of us have them. One week students move energy around karma. The next, masculine/feminine energies (each of us runs both). The next might be the role resistance plays in our lives, or we might look at our kundalini energy. In every class, students trade clairvoyant readings to help each other move energy. We also teach our students to give one-hour readings to the public, which is the best way to shift and clear the student’s own space!
Our Clairvoyant graduates have energy that is brighter and more spacious than it was when they started. They have more clarity and greater awareness of who they are and what they want to create in their lives.
Our next How To Heal Yourself class, the prerequisite for the Clairvoyant Program, starts soon. We’d love to have you, the more the merrier! Big classes are so much fun; my current group gets together on their own time to trade readings and support each other, and it’s delightful to see. I think we all miss being in person, but human nature finds ways to bring people together nonetheless. We are a community as well as a school.
