In hindsight, I have realized that what I experienced that day at the lake is a great metaphor for the energy that filled my spiritual path at the time. As I walked around the lake’s path, I jumped back and forth from noticing the beauty to dwelling on a feeling of loneliness. Even though I was holding on to a false belief that a spiritual path is a lonely path, I decided to focus on my desire to connect. It was this desire that gave me the idea to send a hello from my soul to the mountains and the lake. To my gratitude, the mountains radiated strength back to me and the lake beamed a soft, soothing energy. Suddenly, I wasn’t alone anymore. I was aware of how we are all harmoniously connected all the time. All we have to do is say hello.
Now, over a year later, I have realized the business I have been intuitively guided to create, Aspen Oracle, is something I have created for my clients and myself to receive support from a community of nature. Using my transmedium, clairvoyant and clairaudient abilities in combination with my spiritual information, I have spoken to the aspen tree spirits about the particular wisdom they offer.
So far, I have learned that:
Aspen trees remind us of our connection to the earth and each other. Found thriving at high elevations, aspen trees gently whisper: “root firmly and move at the speed of inspiration”. The interconnected roots of each aspen grove call attention to the balance of family, work, health and community in our lives life. The trees say that when all four of these areas are in harmony, we access freedom to turn inspiration into sustainable reality. When we ask them, aspens help us commit to weathering all seasons together.
Basically, the aspens help with balancing the first chakra. Located at the base of the spine, the first chakra is the energetic center of survival, family, community and work. It is also the chakra where the spirit plugs into the body allowing growth and expansion. Questions about independence, loneliness, separation, freedom, sacrifice, nourishment and safety often get triggered as we ground more fully. The aspens remind us not to get stuck on any one question because our bodies are interconnected systems, and we live an interconnected world. When we dwell in a stuck spot, we clog the whole system! A huge shift aspens help us make is to realize that loneliness and separation are illusions. Individual, as well as collective, survival and ease depend on acknowledging the truth that we are interdependent.
You need not visit the aspens in person to receive the healing from them, but if you’d like to a drive along the scenic Peak to Peak highway in the fall is highly recommended.
