Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Boxing Day, Kwanzaa or other religious or spiritual traditions, this is the time of year when many people gather to socialize with friends and family, eat special foods and exchange gifts. Others might choose to go within and spend more time in reflection, practicing rituals and routines that help them close out the current year and prepare for the next. We might do some of both, something else entirely or nothing at all! As we like to remind our students, there’s no right or wrong, no good or bad. Just you and your knowingness, coming up with the best course of action for you.
We often approach the holidays with expectations about how they should look or feel, and this can limit what we experience. If you’re familiar with energy tools you can release expectation from your space, opening you up to the unexpected. When we have no expectation, there’s more room for qualities like excitement, spontaneity and delight.
Create a big, shiny soap-bubble a few feet in front of your body and let it collect up any expectation you have around the holidays. You don’t have to know what the expectation is about; energy’s easy and it will do as you ask. Pop that bubble, then ask Source to fill you in completely with gold life force energy. It’s simple!
This year we’re offering three beautiful workshops in honor of the holiday season. On Tuesday night December 6th, Jing Liu will guide students in a one-hour workshop, Living as a Child of Source. On Tuesday night December 13th, JoLee Wingerson will teach a one-hour workshop, Angels and Your Miracle Space. On Saturday afternoon December 17th, Jane Binns will present a two-hour workshop on Setting Your Space for the New Year.
Also, in the spirit of the holidays, the Center is pleased to sponsor a special family from Boulder, Colorado, a husband and wife in their late 70’s. The wife supports the couple; the husband has dementia. If you would like to contribute to this lovely family, please look for the donate button on our homepage at www.psychichorizonscenter.org. We ask that you include a note that the contribution is intended for our Holiday family. We deeply appreciate any and all donations, which support this couple and other community members with financial needs. It all adds up and no amount is too small!
Please note that all classes will be on hiatus the weeks of December 26th and January 2nd, however the office will remain open and we will continue to offer student readings as well as our regularly scheduled free healing clinics and meditations.
We’ll kick off January 2023 by offering Embody the Divine Feminine with Jocelyn Hunter, Paul Miller’s new Mind Mastery class and JoLee Wingerson’s Advanced Animal Communication Class. All of our ongoing classes will resume the week of January 9th, with the exception of Ectoplasm 201, which will be held on Sunday, January 8th, instead of January 1st.
Have a beautiful and peaceful holiday! Thank you for your participation in our many offerings and your interest in our newsletter. It’s an honor to be able to serve this community and we look forward to doing so for years to come.
Blessings to you all,
Katie and Trish
