Just consider for a moment, everything is energy! Each time we interact with others or have new experiences, we are making an energetic connection with that person or event. These connections generate emotions and other sensations that we hold in our fields; they create a vibration. We’ve all experienced a vibration around relationships, a beautiful piece of music, the thrill of an adventure or the sense of helplessness comes with a loss. Imagine what it would be like if we held on to all the energy we ever experienced instead of letting it go. We wouldn’t be able to function for long; our lives would become very unwieldy!
But our bodies and our energy fields work together beautifully: bringing in the new, learning from it and then letting it go, bringing in the new, learning from it and then letting it go. Every day we experience ongoing energetic cycles of discovery, growth, decay and release. Those cycles can occur in any given moment, but also in bigger energetic cycles that we move through in our lives; childhood, years of formal education and the different stages of adulthood. It always happens the same way: we bring in the energies that support those cycles, we process them and learn from them, and then we let them go.
We let go using something called grounding. The grounding cord is a remarkable thing, when you think about it. It allows us to energetically gather, learn, grow, break down and release and we don’t have to think about it; most people don’t. Our grounding constantly makes room for something new, by releasing what we’re complete with.
There are so many systems in the body that operate without our conscious participation. Our hearts beat, our lungs move air and we digest our food, but in general there’s no effort, nothing that we have to do. Yet we can influence the ease with which our physical systems work for us by eating with intention, reducing or eliminating stress, exercising and so on. We have that same support for our energy bodies. It’s there whether we know it or not, it’s working for us every day. Our conscious awareness and manipulation of the grounding cord, the flow and quality of earth and cosmic energies, the cleaning and health of our aura bubble – just as we are able to influence the efficiency of the physical body, we can influence the efficiency of the energy body.
I find it comically miraculous.I’ve said it before but it bears repeating: when I discovered energy tools in this incarnation, it was like remembering an old dream or a story someone once told me. Energy tools made complete and total sense to me but at the time and on the face of it, I also found it to be sheer madness. It was too easy!
I grew up Lutheran in the midwest. Growing up, many of us marinated in the energy of Hard Work. There was significant stoicism. And why not? Mine and my peers’ parents lived through the aftermath of a pandemic, a depression and a world war. They witnessed a second world war, the Korean War, the wild ride of the 60’s and Vietnam. In retrospect they kicked all kind of ass but you’d be hard pressed to find anyone who generally found life to be easy.
In my 40’s I discovered energy tools. Don’t like something? Put it in a rose and blow it up. Feel overwhelmed? Put a rose a couple of feet in front of you and take it everywhere like a confident terrier. Feeling drained and uninspired? Create a gold sun and stick the thing over your head. Turn it on like a tap and let it run til you’re full.
Seriously? As one of my students liked to say, “Yep!”
We are moving into a period when people are likely to become more aware of, and interested in, the concept of energy. The idea that there’s a whole world going on alongside the third dimension, but we can’t see it, isn’t new, but it’s not yet reached the mainstream. We’re primed at this moment to tip over into a more universal understanding and acceptance of the existence and capabilities of the energy body.
I’ve said it before, my 19 year old often tells her friends what I do for work and they’re either interested or they shrug, but no one is surprised. Our teacher Karen says her niece casually calls her a “witch”. I understand this is a Gen Z thing, and it means a person who generally has the awareness that you and I have. I find it can be easier to talk this kind of talk with the youngsters than it is with my peers: the young ones get it as if they were “born with it”. We’re all born with it, but their programming is much less. I sense that they come in much closer to that awareness. Is it just my daughter’s friends? She’s a pretty old soul. I guess I’ll find out!
If you’re interested in the concept that everything is energy, we can help you at Psychic Horizons Center. We teach basic energy tools and techniques and we’re one of a handful of centers that teach absolute beginners. We teach all the basics through simplicity and repetition, which we call kindergarten, and this is where the magic begins. Then we invite students into our year-long Clairvoyant Program, where they really get down to business. What kind of business? Come find out and we’ll show you!
It’s simple and straightforward. It’s also comically easy and miraculous. Come join us! We’re having lots of fun and we welcome one and all that are curious to know: how can I work with energy to have a more authentic life?
You can find out more on our website, www.psychichorizonscenter.org, or give us a call at 303-440-7171. I promise we will get back to you!
Many blessings and happy spring to all!
