At Psychic Horizons Center, we are big on ease. Ease, by definition, is the absence of difficulty or effort. It can mean taking something unpleasant, painful or intense and making it less serious or severe. The energy tools we teach reflect that; they are a small number of simple steps that anyone can learn. I’ve done this work for a long time, but I’m still surprised at how much better I feel after grounding, blowing up a few roses and filling in with a gold sun, all of which can take as little as 5 minutes.
With energy tools, there doesn’t have to be any delving, navel-gazing or figuring things out. If we know exactly what’s challenging us the process can be faster, but even if we’re not sure we can start with the felt sense, or the emotions.
Our students report that when they work with energy tools, they feel lighter. When we feel lighter, we’re more in amusement and neutrality; life starts to feel easier.
We can create ease in almost any situation. A difficult relationship, a challenging job, family problems, money issues and so on. Bringing in ease can shift our energy when we’re in a health crisis or when we’re depressed, anxious or bored. We can’t always change an outcome overnight, but we can bring ease to finding a solution. We might start to feel less distressed, or more optimistic. Sometimes when ease is present, a problem can even diminish to the point of disappearing.
Havingness and ease are closely related. If there’s low or no havingness it’s going to be hard for something to be easy, because in effect we don’t have a large enough energetic “container” to receive the thing we desire. But we can easily raise our havingness for something by using energy tools.
It seems counterintuitive that we can have ease when we have struggled with something for a long time, even a lifetime. It can be helpful to remember, there are other considerations besides havingness that get in the way of ease, and they can have their roots in our childhood or even our ancestry. Often, we find we’ve been carrying denser energies, like other people’s beliefs and stories about effort, judgment, competition and lack of permission, that can be found loitering in our field when we are having difficulty shifting our circumstances.
We have more options than we think we do, when we’re trying to access greater ease. If you have energy tools, you know the drill: you can create a gauge and look at your ease for something — what’s the number? If it’s not at least 80%, ground out the gauge and push up the needle until you get it to 100%. You can also blow roses for the qualities I named earlier: judgment, lack of permission, competition and effort. Blow some roses for wherever you lack neutrality!
Another option is to create a bubble for something that’s challenging in your life, then start grounding out the qualities I mentioned above. You can also ground out foreign energy, anything not in your highest good and anything not in present time. The bubble will look different when you’re done; often it’s bigger and clearer. Create a gauge and ask, how much can I have ease in this situation now? Ground the gauge then push it up to 100. Blow up the gauge and fill everything in with a big gold sun full of ease, including yourself.
It’s also helpful to create a mock-up for the situation, with an emphasis on ease. There’s a newsletter article on our website about mock-ups; they’re very easy to create. You can find the article here: https://www.psychichorizonscenter.org/mock-ups/
Grounding, roses, bubbles, gauges and gold suns are powerful energy tools. If you’re curious to learn more, come join us for our foundation class, How to Heal Yourself. We have a 6-week version, as well as a one-day Accelerated class held every second Saturday of the month. Both are prerequisites for our popular, year-long Clairvoyant Program, in which students spend 12 months clearing their energy to access more clarity and seniority in their lives.
Check out our newsletter and our Events Calendar at www.psychichorizonscenter.org, or give us a call at (303) 440-7171. We look forward to meeting you!
