Disaster brings out the best in people and watching the response to Asia has been incredible. The grief and the loss is huge and yet I can't tell you how many miracle stories continue to come out as the healing continues. Literally billions of dollars are pouring in to help those who are devastated to start over. For once we are all responding to the call to help those less fortunate than ourselves. It is the world healing the world. As we focus on the rebuilding of these countries, it gives us a chance to see positive action at work. It takes the attention off war and onto growth. There is so much good happening in the world and it is coming into the light. As healers, we can continue to meditate and pray for all those who lost loved ones, for the builders helping people recreate villages, for those sending supplies, for those healing from wounds, for those feeling overwhelmed and for all who continue to send financial aid. We can all vibrate love and hope to those trying so hard to survive. In your daily meditations and prayers, take a moment to send love. You know from life experience how kind words and thoughts have helped you when you were down or recovering from some kind of loss. It takes so little time to just hold Asia and all the people in your heart for a moment and send them compassionate love. I would encourage your children to do the same thing. Even though they are little, children are incredible healers, and they too can make a difference. Death and change are part of the cycle of life. Just as spring follows each winter, we know that growth and beauty will ultimately come out of this disaster. It is hard for us to understand the “whys.” We can only pick up the pieces and support each other in the rebuilding. Perhaps for a time, we can forget the differences between us and celebrate the sameness. A big thank you for everyone who has helped Asia and to those that are still working to make a difference. Every little bit counts. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. When you help heal the world you also heal part of yourself. A special thank you to all who gave their lives and
ultimately helped bring our world together. All of the lives were cut short, and
many were children only just beginning to live. Our hearts go out to you and
your families. Yours is the most priceless gift, and one we can never repay.
Namaste.
