life," says Tich Nhat Hahn. I love this message because it it takes our
salvation and puts it in our own lap.
It takes our enlightenment out of the realm of something fantastical and episodic and brings it to the earthly level that we live in this lifetime. Often people try to become enlightened by experiencing different dimensions and trying to find their answers there. I usually tell them that I have my hands full mastering this dimension!
People often forget that they are here to learn what we learn in Earth School. Your body is an impressive data bank of information. If the other dimensions figured prominently for this lifeıs learning, I would have chosen to incarnate in one of those, instead!
Understanding this dimension starts with day to day awareness of your needs, physical and spiritual. For this dimension, first learn to love yourself and your body, and provide a home for your eternal spirit while itıs here. Itıs so much easier to follow your path when you're guiding yourself with your own wisdom and information! No one knows what's good for you this lifetime better than yourself. How do you know that you're in your body and in charge of your life?
A lot of it has to do with daily life, and what happens from moment to moment. I see most people are in a hurry to understand all that they can except about this life because they are afraid to truly learn about who they are and what they really came to learn on the earth plane. Karma happens! Also, I see people in a hurry to escape to other realms and ignore the physical aspects of this life because they have forgotten that this lifetime is an eye wink in the giant scheme of things. There is never a need to be in a hurry, because we have eternal life, and we will all figure it out. We are all on the path to healing. Be patient and enjoy the process! So what is enlightenment? It's how you feel about yourself right now. It's how you experience the chair you're sitting in, how you feel about yourself when you wake up in the morning, how you tend to nature and care for your physical world.
We can take every class, read every book, get every
diploma, but itıs who we are in the moment that denotes enlightenment. So, who
are you being? I'm excited to be teaching a new 3-month class in October: Self
Love 101. We will explore our ability to be enlightened in our daily life for 11
weeks. Love is the glue that holds us all together. Do you love yourself enough
to let yourself create the life you came to have this lifetime? We will meet
Tuesday evenings, 7 to 9 starting Oct. 19. Cost is $135 a month. And, we will
put our love into action by adopting
a family and
giving to them through the holidays. Hope to see you!
