ur special cat healer, Ceilya, left  her body Tuesday, July 13 at 10 pm.  She called in no less than 12 ordained ministers to hold space for her transition, and the help of our favorite Boulder vet, Pete Rodgers.  Ceilya came to us from the Western Slope, where she had a few different owners and ended up hidden in the attic of a home with an ill-behaved canine.

She was rescued from that home and brought to our center, when an aware friend noted that we didnąt have a cat!

When Ceilya arrived, we were warned about how shy she was and how we probably wouldnąt see her for a few days. That was not a side of Ceilya we ever saw! She stepped out of her cat carrier like a queen who had finally found her kingdom, a kingdom of aware and sensitive psychics.

For the next 8 years, she proceeded to take every clairvoyant class and healing program we offered. She sat in readings, healings, church services, peace meditations, staff meetings, you name it, she participated. She's the only female in the center to have taken the Power Tools for Men class and the Men's Graduate Class.

On her last Sunday with us, in a standing-room-only church service, Ceilya commanded a front row seat. She was good at claiming and owning her space in many situations and that was her teaching to many students here.  She also taught us about boundaries. Like many cats, she was particular about when and in what manner she was touched, and she didn't mind letting people know what was inappropriate. Being grounded and at peace within usually assured you some time with Ceilya, but God help you if you were too ungrounded for her taste!

In our current building, Ceilya enjoyed morning visits to the neighboring office, where Cyndy would take Ceilya to her desk and feed her salmon while basking on a cushion under a warm lamp.

Being mainly a full-figured gal, Ceilya loved her voluptuous cat body and enjoyed her manicures from Krista. And, when staying at Krista's house for holidays, she enjoyed "Dallas" and other special TV entertainments, as well as showing her superiority to the other cats in the house.

She will be missed, but we are thrilled that she had a peaceful passing, and spent not one moment in pain, or doubting that she was honored and loved.  We can only feel blessed that she came to be with us here in Boulder and be our resident psychic cat, sharing her wisdom and grace to the very last.  Bye, Ceilya! We love you!
