Everyday people are making new decisions in their lives. They are moving, finding new careers, healing illness, creating and ending relationships, trying new hobbies and expanding their creativity. It's fun and an honor for us here at Psychic Horizons Center to be of service to people in their transitions. Not a day goes by that we don't get an email or phone call about something that is working better in someone's life because of what they remembered here. We've helped people who are going through changes in their life and feel overwhelmed. Or, people who feel like theyıve been living a lie and want to create some change in their life. Change is inevitable, struggle is an option are the words on a bumper sticker stuck to my refrigerator. Option is the important word here! It takes a lot of courage to decide that something in your life isn't working and voluntarily decide to shift it. We often wait until the two by four hits us on the head before we venture into the world of change. One thing we teach here is how to handle these shifts with grace and amusement with minimal struggle. Then, you emerge from other end more empowered than ever. I never tire of teaching the tools to help people through these shifts and remind them of the truths about themselves that have become buried under years of invalidation and lies. As Mary noted in her article on the cover of this issue, it's easy to overlook the positive things that are happening in the world. The way to begin noticing more of the good, is to see it more in your own life first. Validate all the changes youıre gone through this lifetime that have gotten you where you are today. If it's time to make a change, then validate your ability to have the process of change, and even if it feels scary, let yourself travel your path. I have never been punished, nor have I ever seen another punished, for following their heart - even when it means making big changes. How can you relieve yourself of some of the struggle? Love yourself every moment of every step of your life, no matter what. Take time each day to validate what is working in your life. Bless all that you see around you and in the world that represents what you want to see more of. Don't be afraid to speak your truth and be a living
example of love and
peace on the
planet. -Rev. Hope Hewetson Rev. Hope Hewetson is associate director of Psychic Horizons Center. Call Hope for a reading or healing, at 303-685-8991 or email hopi@frii.com. |
