This is the first step to learning how to open the clairvoyance and learn to see and read energy patterns. I make an agreement with whoever I teach, that I only expect them to only see one thing out of ten right! I can fine tune accuracy, but what I really want for them to learn is to communicate what they see. They have to learn to get over the fear it will be wrong, or judged. This keeps most people from opening up and is the trickiest to overcome. Fear, fear, fear. Amazing how it runs our lives and pops up in the most unexpected places. Next I will have them look at the outline of a body and allow the first color in the aura to appear. They can guess if they don't see anything. Make it up, I don't care, just say what you see. Tee hee! Most people read at about 70% correct. It is just too hard to make it up. The real finesse comes later in interpreting what you actually see and how it fits in that person's life. Yes, that does take time and life experience. Like anything else, the more you read the better you get at it. Last month, I taught a group of 100 people in a one-hour workshop down in Florida how to read auras. They read each other and then they read a friend of their partner's. People were just amazed at how accurate the readings were, especially since none of the group had ever read before. We all had so much fun. One of the best compliments I got was from a woman who came up to me and said, "I hope you will take this the right way. When you had us read today it felt, well normal! No big deal, like it validated a part of me I've always used but didn't have a name for. Not that I look for colors around people, but I have a sense of them. I'm not afraid to use my intuition now. Thanks." And that is how it is supposed to be - simply normal. I see us using our gut instinct, our sixth sense to guide us. Trusting our inner voice, knowing our truth, standing in our own certainty, and using it in our day to day choices. It is not anything fancy, it is the spiritual part of us in harmony with our physical body. What makes it hard is the foreign energy of doubt and limitation that has gotten between the communication of our spirit with our body. How many times have you ever said, "Darn! I should have listened to myself! I had the right answer." Tuning in can make your life so much easier. It is fun and a skill you can use in every aspect of your life. -Rev. Mary Bell Nyman Rev.
