by Krista Socash My first encounter was with Arch Angel Raphaelle. I had read in a book that whenever we need assistance with healing someone to call upon him and he will be there to assist. At the time, my 13-year-old cat was dying from a brain tumor. Everyone around me told me to put her to sleep, but I didn't believe that is what she wanted. So I called in Arch Angel Raphaelle to help me do the highest thing for each of us. I immediately found a new sense of peace with the whole situation. I decided to have her undergo surgery to take out the tumor. After the surgery, she was back to her hyper self and lived for another six months. Upon her death, I felt her presence with Arch Angel Raphaelle, both were telling me that everything was fine and I could let her go. I felt so grateful that this whole situation had renewed my faith that there is help all around us if we just ask. It doesn't have to be such a struggle. I was once told that the easier our lives are, the happier we are which allows others the same chance to heal. I firmly believe this. There are several angels who work with us on every aspect of our lives. You don't have to have a problem to talk to your angels. Even when you are happy they are around you. To contact your angel, you can find a quiet place where you can have a few minutes alone. Close your eyes and ground to the earth. Allow yourself to call your angel to you, or call in the presence of angelic energy. Just say hello and see what response you get. Sometimes it takes a few tries to seem real. Many of the angels I have encountered have a really great sense of humor and offer a tremendous friendship. They don't intrude or tell you what to do, but offer guidance and support so you can make the right choices for you. They can help you find parking spaces, calm you when you are afraid, give you definite signs in your life or just give you a hello. Thank you to all our unseen helpers! -Rev. Krista Socash
