t is mid-March and spring is imminent. The sun is going into the
constellation of Aries and all the plants in my home are sprouting new buds,
leaves and stems. After a winter of dormancy, Aries is ready for some
action, getting everything started so we can have plentiful vegetables,
fruits and vegetation for the rest of the year.
Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of energy. When Aries or Mars are transiting your horoscope, it is time to take action, DO SOMETHING, even if it is wrong! The object is to get the energy flowing, then you can manifest anything you want (the sun next visits Taurus, a specialist in manifesting).
Aries brings the time and energy to start planting our garden, clean out the closets, basements, attics and get things ready for renewal. If we are not using our energy, we can feel stuck and not able to do anything. Then comes the built-up frustrations that lead to explosive and angry fights-anything to release the pent up energy! Aries energy needs to be consciously used for beginning positive manifesting. The sun is in Aries until April 20, start the seeds of whatever you want for the year-plants, job, relationship, money, anything!
Mercury is also in Aries during April 6 through April 21. It is time to communicate directly, without hidden agendas. There is no patience for double messages or hemming and hawing about the subject. Clear out the non-essentials of the issue and get to the point of what you want to convey. "Know what you mean, and mean what you say" is a Mercury in Aries characteristic.
Venus is in Aries throughout April, offering the energy to start new relationships with a new job, hobby, pet, car, home, child, socially, or even a lover! It is time to come out of hibernation and take the initiative to have the relationships you want. Watching the flowers begin to bloom in an Aries spring can be very romantic when we are also beginning to bloom inside.
With so much Venus in Aries energy (retrograde until April 21), this is good time to review and clear the air of hostilities and animosities that have been brewing with someone important in your life. Things can get excitable, but at least now you can release some frustration. After April 21, Venus goes direct and it is time to make clean choices in the relationship's)- renewal, revision, recharge or move on.
Thank goodness for Aries, bringing the energy to get a new spring outfit, call up friends we haven't connected with in months, and most of all, charge up some fresh new enthusiasm about life. Go for it!!
