Living in Gratitude, by Mary Bell

I've have been watching the crocus stems pop their
heads through the soil and stand bravely in the cold. Their vivid colors herald
the beginning of spring and I am full of gratitude! The crocus tell us
that warm weather is around the corner and that the harshness of winter is soon
coming to an end. They give us hope that life will begin again. Just like new
leaves will bloom on the trees, we all get to start over in this cycle of life.
Spring fills us with the excitement of this new beginning.

So true! Van Gogh may have had a bit of an
instability issue (the whole ear thing!), but he mastered his creativity,
despite his style which defied the critics of his time.
