Inner-Light Church Message June 2010 from Hope Hewetson

Good Morning! Take a deep breath, close your eyes & validate your space. There will be a lot of concepts for you to heal in yourself in today’s message so say hello to your grounding cord!

The theme is from the wonderful book The Journey Home by Kryon. The main character, Michael Thomas, is given the opportunity to journey on the astral after he requests to go Home, following a life-threatening accident. He is exasperated with his work and life, has given up on the care of his body, or making new friends or having love. Following the accident and lying in the hospital, he is visited by an angel. He tells the angel that he’s done, and ready to go home .

The angel asks him what he expects by going home, and Michael says, “I want to be loved, and to be around love. I want to feel peaceful in my existence. I don’t want to be subject to the concerns and trivial interactions of those around me. I don’t want to worry about money. I want to feel RELEASE! I’m tired of being alone. I want to mean something to other entities in the Universe. I want to know that I exist for a reason, and do my part in heaven-or whatever you call it-to be a correct and appropriate part of God’s plan. I don’t really want to be a human as I have been. I want to be like you! That’s what going home is about for me.”

I’m sure that each of us here can identify with his frustrations! Michael agrees to follow the path to home that is laid out for him. This book is full of amazing reminders and wisdom and so I will simply have us look at the main qualities that Michael learns about as he visits each of the houses of his 7 angels. I know these lessons of awareness will be familiar to you!

I would recommend that you read the book if you enjoy this message, there is certainly much more in it than we can look at today in this short period of time! There is a spoiler alert, as you will know basically what happens, but it’s not all given away by any means, there are still many surprises as you read the book!
 
Michael embarks on his path to go home, and finds the first house, the House of Maps. The angel takes him on a tour, and he is in awe of the rows and rows of drawers of the records of every being who has ever taken a body. He finally finds his drawer, and is trembling with excitement  to receive his map that will guide him home. He is a little disappointed when he opens it and it is blank except for a red dot and the words “You are Here” written to the side of it. He turns to the angel and asks if this is some kind of angel joke!

Michael gets his first teaching of present time, how all is created from intention and choice, which is simply focusing the mind. He notices that the events of his life on the map move in and out of one spot, which is exactly the opposite of a human map. The angel says, “In your time frame, the map is known, and the human moves. That’s because you perceive time and reality as a constant, and the human is the variable. When you move closer to our vibration and time frame, the human entity is the known constant and the map, or reality, is the variable.”

Breathe and validate this awareness, because we are reaching the angelic vibration more and more each day. Since we have human bodies that can only be in one place at a time, it does seem to move from point to point as we go about our day. But at the same time, remember that you are a spirit in that body  and that the quality of your awareness  in the present moment sets the intent of what you are experiencing and drawing to you. It is so powerful. The angels don’t have to move because they change the picture of the moment. And so can you. Maybe we don’t have it so finely tuned that we can “be” in Hawaii right now, but you can change the picture of your perception, attitude, whatever it is, right now. That is the start of learning to teleport, as well as other seeming impossibilies. Be here now, and be the energy of what you are intending and creating.

Breathe and validate this truth on whatever level you can entertain it in this moment. Perhaps choose something you are having a hard time with and change your picture about it. You are here now, and who you are being  determines the next moment and the next and the next. 

Michael takes his map and journeys on to the second house, the House of Gifts and Tools. Here he meets an angel who teaches him about karma, how he creates his reality, how we learn from past lives and much more. He also receives three special tools: his Sword of Truth, Shield of Knowledge, and his Armor of Spirit.  He is told this triad of energies have to be in balance in order to allow him passage into a new vibration.  Going home is a vibrational shift, not a geographical one.

This works in your lives, as you see yourself with the ability to respond more and more often from your truth and knowledge as an eternal Spirit of love versus from fear. The more we respond from that balanced place, our vibration increases.

Michael is taught the power of the triad, and cautioned to never use them separately. Breathe and validate these tools of yours, to speak and live your truth, to know you are spirit and live from that wisdom.

Validate how this triad works together. Anything created that left out one of those qualities will have to leave your life, and you have a chance to rebuild it from your true core of wisdom, power and sense of oneness of all. Take a look at something that is not working in your life or not coming to fruition. What is missing? If it doesn’t resonate with your truth that comes from wisdom birthed in love, then there is fear, and it will not survive.

On Michael goes to the third house, The House of Biology. The angel here teaches Michael that each of our cells contains consciousness that knows about God. Each cell has the potential for enlightenment, love, and the pursuit of a vibration of change. Each cell feels pain of an event in the body, but also feels passion, truth, joy and pleasure. The body is a community experience and your enlightenment resides equally in every cell. Every cell knows God, so see yourself as a whole versus just a bunch of parts. Practice talking to the whole of you as a body, in regards to what the body needs, how to eat, exercise, and how to have the energy you need in your body.

The body is self-perpetuating when it is honored with proper treatment. But the angel teaches Michael something that your spirit has to offer the body that it can’t do for itself. And that is the gift of choice. The cells of your body have God in them, but they don’t have the power to choose to enlighten themselves. Only you the spirit can do that. So when you ask for enlightenment, or whatever your intent is, all the cells receive it.

Learn to talk to your body, to see it as a We.  Visualize a cell from your body in front of you. Ground it and direct any colors and qualities of energy that aren’t yours to leave down that grounding cord. Now infuse that cell with love and your spiritual intention in this moment. Move this cell back into your body and allow all the other cells in your body to match it.

Before Michael leaves this third house, he not only learns that the body is sacred, but  that sex is not bad and dirty, but can in fact be another way of raising ones vibration and is one of the greatest spiritual aspects of our biology. This was an eye-opener for him, and he was excited to think that perhaps priests would learn more about that! So validate your sexual space. What’s important is that your relationship to your body is loving and honoring, that it’s care is under the direction of your spiritual truth and knowledge!

Michael continues his journey, and arrives at the fourth house, the House of Responsibility. Needless to say, he wasn’t exactly thrilled when he heard it’s name! He immediately thinks of expectations put on him, criticism and failure. He wonders if the female angel at this house is sent by a female God to change him, and what a sick joke that would be!

Here Michael views a movie, that he would have called, “All the Bad things That Happened to Me in My Life.”  The movie jumped from one potent negative life experience to the next, being punished, bullied, laughed at, from infancy through toddlerhood, through school and on and on up to his present life, and ended with the most devastating incidents, the tragic death of his parents in a car crash, and the painful loss of a lover.  He survived the viewing, and the next day the angel shows him another movie, which Michael decides should be called, “All the Bad Things I Did in Life.” He slid down in his chair as it played on and on, cringing and feeling uncomfortable. He realized that being victimized, as he was in the first movie was bad, but being the victimizer and watching yourself lie and cheat was even worse!

The angel helped him realize that he, himself, had planned all of those events with the other people involved. Before we take a body in a new lifetime, we set ourselves up for potential for learning. And Michael learned that the death of his parents was the greatest gift in his life, because it was after their death that he started having more respect for his actions. He wanted to reflect his inner goodness instead of making life harder for others. He learned that what we humans see as tragedy, can actually be the catalyst for  planetary change, vibrational increase, and a gift beyond measure. It’s the overview that is important, not the actual event.

The responsibility, is that we are each responsible for our own life, and choice is the gift  we are given. We choose from moment to moment, to create from love or fear. Take a moment and look at an event in your life where you see yourself as a victim. Something happened that seemed out of your control.  How can you perceive it differently? Why did you create it? What did you learn? Now look at something that you did that you now have remorse for. Can you see the information you were responding to was a lie? Can you see that you were limited in your ability to respond because you needed to see that you desired to be different? What was your lesson?

Humans have the power to change the fabric of reality because of the amazing amount of opportunities we have to learn. Forgive yourself, and see that you have the information within you to live your dharma, your truth, and release the karma of past actions. Choose to have the response- ability to respond more from love in all areas of your life. Practice doing a life review at the end of each day, and validate your learning and all that you offer. The angels let Michael know over and over how sacred we humans are, magnificent and powerful!

The next house is the House of Relationships. Michael is a bit worried, as he is sure this is an area he has failed in miserably! He wonders if he will have to watch more films, and the angel says yes, the film is to be about family. But  the faces Michael  sees  aren’t all familiar, because it’s his spiritual family. This is the family that we travel through time with, in a group, playing different roles for each other so we learn our lessons and grow. As he meets the true being of these people on the screen, he sees that they all come from an intention of pure love, no matter the circumstances of the life experience on earth. He even sees this in the bully from his childhood and the woman who killed his parents with her car.

Best of all, he learned that we can make new, enlightened choices to affect our life as we live and grow, using the part of ourselves that is still with the Godhead. This is our higher self, and we can tune into it any time, with our thoughts and intent, just like we can tune into anything or any level of information. Your consciousness creates your reality, and Spirit can be anywhere.  Your body sits here in present time, but  you can change the picture in your awareness, right now, to anything you choose.

The freedom in this is that you learn to need less and less, and be attached to people less and less. We are all one, you will always be in the right place at the right time. And in this moment, you can choose to see, in your mind, a loved one, or any place or situation you choose and send it love. Try it now. And breathe. Know you are connected with everyone, always.

The sixth house on his journey is the House of Love.  He learns that this house of love is  the center of it all. All is sourced from love. The angel here is white, pure and amazing, and it describes itself: “I represent the source for all matter. I exist that I exist and am the reason for the Universe to exist. I live in the highest scientific paradoxes imaginable, but I am responsible for the emotions of a single human heart. I am the smallest part of physics and the largest part of the Universe. I represent all light. I am the space between the nucleus of the atom and the electron haze. I am the most abundant force in the Universe and the most powerful source of energy. I am from the most distant, yet most powerful force in the Universe. I am the sands in the hourglass of time. I am the creative force that allows physics to respond to consciousness; therefore, I am a miracle. I AM love.”

Michael was in awe, for he knew he was in the presence of a part of God that was sacred. The love angel tells him that when the pure love of God permeates your being, your cells vibrate with its integrity, you will see things differently and treat others differently. You have powerful discernment. Then, he tells Michael he wants to show him how it works. He takes Michael on a journey to a hospital room. They are in an intensive care ward of a dying man with his daughter by his side. Her name is Mary.

Michael learns that Mary should hate her father because he physically abused her as a child and ruined her life. Michael says he understands why she hates her father, but is surprised when the angel points out that Mary actually loves her father.  Mary has full realization of all the information Michael learned in the six angel houses. She has this information on Earth, in her human body. He is stunned, because he thought you could only learn it on the astral as he was doing, on his way home. He realizes that he could have stayed on Earth and learned these lessons.

The angel explains how humans can learn these tools while in the body, each at their own pace, and Michael sees that he is leaning much from the seemingly small, frail woman, vibrating at such a high vibration. The angel teaches Michael the four attributes of love: Love is Quiet, Love has No Agenda, Love Does Not Puff Itself Up, and Love Has the Wisdom to Use the Other Three Perfectly!

And so, here is the scene that really made me want to share this book and reminders with you, because you are each Mary, this amazing human on this amazing path. You use your intuitive maps to be where you need to be, you use your gifts of truth, and wisdom based on spirit, you are learning to love, forgive, accept and be a conscious creator.

Know that everything you do makes a difference. It is, in fact, the only thing that shifts the consciousness of the world. And you achieve this by steadfastly doing your best each day, quietly, with no agenda, and with no need to prove yourself to anyone. You are the ones that bring these gifts to the planet, through your words, gestures and beingness, no matter how seemingly small and insignificant they seem.

Can you have this powerful love that is you, right now? Because it is yours, if it is your intent for it to be so. You can have an even greater and more powerful life than you have ever imagined, just by setting this intent right now. Breathe, and have it. Give yourself a gold sun and release any energy that doesn’t want you to have it in this moment. Change of this magnitude isn’t always comfortable, as we often have to release old concepts that we thought worked and embrace a new level of trust in ourselves and something greater. Let your cells vibrate in the true essence of you.

And so Michael then proceeded to the seventh house, which wasn’t just a cottage but an enormous golden mansion. He saw it as a portal. Finally! The door to home! It was amazing, and he fell to his knees before a figure that he was sure was God!

He was overcome with emotion, as the being appeared, glorious, shimmering like 10,000 butterflies. It asks him if he loves God and if we would like to see God. Of course Michael wants to and guess what he sees? Himself! The angel is Michael Thomas.  And Michael can  barely believe his eyes.

 The angel says, “There is something within each human that dramatically fights to the last logical synapse of brain matter  to keep from believing that it is anything other than human, Michael. I AM your higher self, Michael Thomas, the part of God that resides in you as you walk the planet Earth. This is your last revelation and lesson before you continue to your goal. This is the last hurdle of information for you to absorb. It is the highest, most potent truth for all humanity-the one that is the best hidden and hardest to accept.

This is the House of Self-Worth. Nothing will stop you in your enlightened journey faster than feeling that you don’t deserve it. Therefore, we chose to reveal to you who you really are. You are a part of me, Michael. We are an angel of the highest order, like all humans are. We are the ones who have chosen to visit planet Earth, go through the trials of humans life, and raise the planet’s vibration by our journey’s lessons and experience. We are the ones who can make a difference for all humanity as well as the Universe. Believe me, Michael Thomas, what you did on Earth made big changes in other areas.”

And so he learns his final lesson, to love and honor himself above all else, to know that he is a sacred entity of heaven. Breathe, and in this moment, embrace your sacredness. Have this awareness of your connection with your higher self and embrace this partnership.  You belong on Earth, as a healer and transmuter of energy, living these truths. Home is where you are.

Breathe and have a hello with your higher self in this moment. Have that love. It may, in this moment, be quiet, without an agenda, and not to be bragged about. Just be a spirit, the spirit that is you, the essence of you, in the center of your bodies’ head in this moment. The body is present, in your chair. But you can change the picture in your mind and see you, your higher self as you look as an angel. Send love to you, and receive love back. In this moment, you have the opportunity to shift a perception, and have it in present time, whatever experience you are having with yourself. What do you want to have  in the body and remember from this point forward? Set your intent and ask for it.

When you are ready, bring in your gold sun, fill in with your energy and give to yourself all the colors and qualities of energy that you desire. Give it to yourself because you love yourself, you are amazing and powerful, just as you are in this moment. Give it to yourself as the sacred being that you are. You are love, you are loving, you are lovable. You are Home.
